Other than the tail I have the Nybble kit assembled and started to work on calibration.
I followed the user manual instructions, with a few missteps along the way but corrected those.
One thing that was confusing, or MIA, is where exactly to connect the servos on the NyBoard. I connected them following the picture in the connect wires page.
Then I wanted to use the Python GUI app to do the configuration. I hit an interesting issue with the GUI app.
When I select Nybble the main menu says that it is Nybble, but the graphic is for Bittle and the tail and head tilt sliders are in active.
But the bigger issue is that the servos as connected per the image on that page are incorrect. For example The Right Fron Arm and Knee sliders move the left rear leg, and the other legs are also incorrect.
Has anyone else run into this issue? Did I miss some clear mapping of the servos to the pins on the NyBoard. I saw the part about the ordering of GND, +5 and signal, and that's not my problem. It's where are the Nybble servos supposed to connect on the V 1_2 board?
Also, has anyone else had the issue mentioned above with the Python GUI with Nybble.
Finally, is it likely that the NyBoard that came with the Nybble kit might have firmware for Bittle installed so I would need to build and flash the proper firmware.
After uploading the latest firmware via Petoi Desktop App(V1.1.2). The issue is fixed!
