can someone please help with my previous question about the serial port?! I cannot progress without this help. how can it have 30 view and no response.

I have followed the instructions and plugged in the serial port to my Mac. I have the new (blue) serial connector instead of the red one. when I plug in nibble makes a sound and lights up. the tx and rx does not light up so everything seams fine. the only problem is that the serial port does not show up. all I have is SOC, MALS, and bluetooth incoming port. what do I do to successfully locate the serial port??

I bought the EBL batteries suggested from wall mart. They are the rechargeable version. I charged them fully and put them in the pack. I connected the pack to the board and pushed the buttons on the NYboard. Nothing happened. The battery pack plugs were fairly loose in the green thing. Is it not working because they are rechargeable batteries? They are the exact same as the normal ones, just with a recharge ability.

Sorry i keep asking questions I’m just very new to coding and everything. My first question is can I just simply download the files from GitHub and copy paste all of them into a single arduino sketch. or do I need to do anything more. I want to know if uploading all the files will hurt my NYboard. Also what limitations are there without the ultrasonic sensor?

I am very confused about a lot of things and im hoping there are some answers. the first question I have is soldering mandatory? can you finish without soldering? if not what do I need to solder and where. also where do I plug in the ultra sonic sensor? how do I plug in the battery pack to the nyboard? how do I connect the controller? and also a basic understanding of where to start with uploading the code in an easy way. I know im asking for a lot but honestly I know nothing about coding and I REALLY didn't know what I was getting into when I bought this. nevertheless I am VERY excited for the end product and I hope I can figure it out. if anyone is willing to answer this rather long list of questions thank you so much and I hope I can finish this. thanks. (FYI I have the Nyboard VO,2. I have not attached my raspberry pi. also I have downloaded everything from GitHub and I connected my nibble to my computer. I also downloaded Arduino sketch. I just need to know what to do from there.)

could someone please send me a picture of where I plug in all the cords on the Nyboard VO.2. the only pictures were for VO.1. I also especially need to know where to plug in the sensor on the head. thanks
