Hi there, First of all, let me just say what a wonderful project! I've just ordered a Nybble and look forward to the assembly and familiarisation process. Brief intro: I'm an embedded programmer as Linx Printing Uk and part time private AGI researcher (Please check out my research paper: (http://optishell.co.uk/eden/). As part of my research, I am now finalising a 'data server' that dll hooks into many different game engines and sims, the client of which is the EDeN Project, a novel AGI framework that grows a neural architecture via 'energy' constraints. Hopefully I can also make an interface for nybble and watch it grow and evolve it's brain hosted remotely :) I currently have at disposal from home .Cyclone10 prototyping board Orange pi plus 2e (http://www.orangepi.org/orangepiplus2e/) - Currently running a Raspbian OS. Not really doing much with it. .Raspberry pi 4 model b .Trusty soldering iron
-Although I have access to to an electronics lab at work
I read somewhere this project is short on developers? Of course I don't mind helping out!
What are your plans and let's get mad sciencing!
Best,
Jamie
I haven't a lot of time recently, but, I'm trying to test out all the functionality. https://www.petoi.com/forum/hardware/led-ultrasonic-sensor-issues
Update 1: A received the kit roughly two weeks and have been beavering away inbetween my main work. (the virus has taken it's toll in many places! :(). A few images of the assembly below, I didn't find any real problems with the assembly other than being a bit confused on if I should setup the Nybble board before adding the pi (You don't!). (I've yet to tune the motors and load code onto the board (I plan to remotely parse builds from pi to Nybble) as I have to focus on a few things beforehand in other projects). I must say, all the items were presented very cleanly, I had an enjoyable experience doing something different than code :)
This last image is the still the current state, I'm hoping to get time tomorrow to have the fella walking.
Hey, I just handed over your package to our courier. Will update the tracking through email.
