Make sure your programmer is set to USBtinyISP!

Hey folks, just got my Bittle and put it together. I had a couple hours of frustation - it wasn't executing any behaviors. It could go to zero, rest, and do calibration, but whenever it tried to do a behavior it would just wiggle briefly without doing anything.

Turns out I had the programmer in Arduino left on the default, "avrdude". It still programmed without issue, but I guess it didn't write the EEPROM properly or something. I switched to "USBtinyISP", loaded WriteInstinct, and now it works! There still seem to be some slight calibration issues, but overall I'm pretty happy. Looking forward to BiBoard and using an ESP32.

I remake all several times, always iqual, a short movement in three legs and other a little more long. I don't know reason but I make what you say and my Bittle is OK. Thank a lot Michael.
