Basic Assembly and Setup

The docs only mention NyBoard V0_1 and NyBoard V0_2, and it's beyond my abilities to trace the history of design changes from V0_2 to V1_2. What's the pin order for V1_2 - is it brown closer to the board, or is it orange closer to the board?
