Battery problem
I bought the EBL batteries suggested from wall mart. They are the rechargeable version. I charged them fully and put them in the pack. I connected the pack to the board and pushed the buttons on the NYboard. Nothing happened. The battery pack plugs were fairly loose in the green thing. Is it not working because they are rechargeable batteries? They are the exact same as the normal ones, just with a recharge ability.

The battery is correct. You need to confirm that the powering wires are inserted into the right socket and tightened. You also need to upload the Arduino sketches as explained in the instruction doc.
